At approximately 9:00 p.m. on August 10, an air tanker made a safe, controlled emergency landing on Route 10 near Noonan while returning to base.
The pilot followed FPL’s emergency procedures. Our emergency plan was activated immediately, and our highly trained crews responded accordingly. The cause of the incident is under investigation. All required regulatory agencies have been notified, and no further comment will be made at this time.
Our focus remains on protecting New Brunswick. Our team is deployed today to continue supporting wildfire suppression efforts across the province.
