As the world recognizes International Women’s Day, Forest Protection Limited is recognizing and celebrating the women across our organization.
Forestry and aviation have traditionally been male-dominated industries. At FPL, however, women are contributing in meaningful ways across every part of the operation. From critical support functions to frontline operational roles, their expertise strengthens teams, enhances decision-making, and supports the high level of performance and reliability our organization is known for.
To build on this momentum, the women of FPL recently came together for a two-day professional development workshop focused on leadership, confidence, and leveraging their full potential. The session was facilitated by Tanya Chapman, who broke barriers as the first female executive at a major oil and gas company.
Through open discussion, shared experiences, and practical insights, participants were challenged to think bigger, expand their leadership capacity, and continue pushing beyond traditional boundaries.
By strengthening connections and building a supportive network, FPL is committed to creating an environment where women can continue to grow, lead, and contribute to the future of the organization.
